Mount Normandale is a neighborhood of West Bloomington that is located on the south side of Mount Normandale Lake. The neighborhood consists of around 150 single family homes ranging from $400,000 to $600,000 in price. Mount Normandale also contains some executive homes that range between $900,000 to $1,500,000 in price. The community is primarily made up of two story ramblers and traditionals. Mount Normandale is an excellent family friendly community featuring great homes for sale and convenient location with easy access to numerous amenities.

 

The nearest amenity to Mount Normandale is Highland Park. Highland Park is a part of the Three Rivers Park District and is one Normandale Lake Park in Bloomington, Minnesotaof the premier outdoor recreational destinations in the south metro area. The park features several recreational amenities such as a disc golf course, ski area, playground, nature center, trails, and more. Residents of Mount Normandale can shop at various shopping centers in the area including the Eden Prairie Shopping Center to the northwest. The shopping center contains a Starbucks, McDonald’s, Arby’s, Barnes & Noble, Panera, and more.

 

The Mount Normandale neighborhood is a part of Independent School Jefferson High School in Bloomington, MinnesotaDistrict 271, also known as Bloomington Public Schools, which consists of 22 different schools. The closest school to residents of the neighborhood is Poplar Bridge Elementary School, which serves around 500 students in grades K-5. Poplar Bridge Elementary has a student to teacher ratio 15.8. Other schools in the area include Ridgeview Elementary, Normandale Elementary, Valley View Middle School, Jefferson High School, Bethany Academy, and Normandale Community College.
